In Council Annapolis IIth June 1779
Sir
Be pleased to send forward to the Commissary of Issues at
the Head of Elk, from the Places most convenient for that
Purpose, from 12 to 1500 Barrls of the Flour of your Purchase,
advising the Commissary that it is under our Orders and that
he is to forward it to Philada with all Dispatch. We are wrote
to pressingly on this Subject & wish the Business to be
speedily done

Saturday 12th June 1779

Present as on yesterday
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Major
Nathaniel Smith two hundred and fifty Pounds, to be delivered
over to Lieut Saml Sadler, of the Baltimore Matrosses on
Account, and also the further Sum of Eighteen thousand
Pounds to be delivered over to Robert Buchanan Esq. to be
expended in the Purchase of Wheat, Flour &ca for the use of
the Continental Army & to be accounted for.
That the said Treasurer pay to Robert Reith nine Pounds
due him per Account passed by the Depy Aud.
That the said Treasurer pay to Capt. George Keeports one
thousand Pounds on Account.
That the said Treasurer pay to Capt James Fernandes,
seventeen Pounds twelve shillings and six pence p Account
passed by the Depy Aud.
That George Keeports collect and receive into his charge all
the Arms & Accoutrements in Baltimore County belonging
to this State that they may be ready for Service occasionally and
that the Officers of the Militia assist him in the said Collection
Ordered that the Commissary of Stores deliver to Major
Nathaniel Smith 30 Shirts 50 pair Shoes, 70 pair Overalls &
4 Blankets for the Baltimore Matrosses
Capt George Keeports is appointed Armourer at Baltimore,
