Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to John Lynn
Five thousand Pound out of the Money sent by Congress to
be by him delivered over to Richard Brooke to be expended
in the Purchase of Wheat & Flour and Accounted for
This Board on Enquiry into the Circumstances of Samuel
Carter's Inlistment into the Matross Service of this State are
Unanimously of opinion that the said Inlistment is good and
valid and ought to be binding on the said Samuel Carter
agreeable to the Resolve of the Convention for raising
Matroses for the Service of this State
Ordered that the Treasurer of the Western shore deposit in
the Hands of the Commissioner of the Continental Loan
Office in this State, all the Continental Bills of Credit of the
Emissions of May 1777 and April 1778 which are in his Hands
as Treasurer, belonging to this State and that he take three
Certificates of nearly equal Sums making up in the whole the
amount of those Bills of Credit to exchange the same for this
State according to the Resolutions of Congress
The like Order to the Commissioners for emitting Bills of
Credit.

satisfactorily recommended to us for an Ensignsy in the sixth
Maryland Regiment; we request that he may be commissioned
accordingly

In Council Annapolis 26th May 1779
Sir.
We send you by Mr John Lynn 5000£ to discharge your
Contracts. The Quantity of Flour requested is made up or
nearly so; pray send us an exact Account of your Purchase
and have it manufactured and stored at George Town as soon
as may be. A General Account is desired of us by the first of
next Month; you'll please to stop purchasing.
