Yesterday we recd your Secretary's Letter of the 4th Inst in-
closing the Resolution of Congress of the 3d The General As-
sembly have not given us any particular Powers, with Respect
to the Cannon belonging to this State, but, presuming that
they would, on this pressing Occasion, furnish Congress with
such as are not in immediate Use, we shall venture to let you
have any, not exceeding ten eighteen Pounders & five Nines,
on the Terms proposed, of having, the Cannon returned or to
receive the full Value, at the Election of the Assembly; they
all have Carriages & are at a good Landing on the Head of
this River.

of the 3d Regimt Eight yds Casmire, 25 pair Overalls & 25
