when the said Vessel shall have been loaded and ready to de-
part, you are to clear her out for Boston, the Port of her Desti-
nation indorsing such Clearance hereon

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Zephaniah
Turner Esqr One hundred Pounds, due him per Acct passed
by the Depy Audr
Commissions issued to John Bruce appd Ist Lieut and John
Green 3d Lieut, of the Galley Chester and also to James Nich-
olson appointed Capt. Thomas Moore first Lieut, John Martin
2d Lieut, & Robert Caulfield 3d Lieut, of the Galley Conqueror,
during her intended Cruise
You are hereby directed and impowered to take the Com-
mand of the Chester Galley during her intended Cruise as
Captain of her in the same Manner and as fully as if you had
been appointed by your Commission Captain of the said Galley.

In Council Annapolis 6th March 1779
Sir.
Marsh Mareen Duvall having represented to us that the
tenth Instant is not a convenient Time for hearing the Com-
plaint against James Mullikin we have therefore and on his
Affidavit of Material Witnesses being wanted appointed Mon-
day the 29th Instant for a Hearing at which Time we request
your Attendance.

Duvall & Thos Duckett, Capt. Tobias Belt, Addison

Murdock
Josias Belt & Thos Boyd

N. B. Another Letter, so far as to the Words for a Hearing,
