always make great Prices, we suppose a good Deal of Wheat
and Flour is now on Hand and to be deducted from the
30000 Barrels; we wish you could obtain something more
particular on this Subject for if a Third or one Half the
Quantity only should be wanted, other Measures may be
adequate than for the whole Quantity. The two Houses
adjourned to different Days, the Senate to the 26th of April
and the House of Delegates to the first Monday in August, no
Time has yet been appointed by the Government

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to John Wil-
mott junr Eighty Nine Pounds twelve shillings & six Pence for
riding Express to Phila per Accts passed by the Depy Audt
That the said Treasurer pay to Capt Jacob Brice of the
Third Maryland Regimt One hundred & fifty Pounds due him
by Resolve of the G. Assy
That the said Treasurer pay to Lieut Peter Clark of the
same Regimt One hundred & fifty Pounds due him by Resolve

of the C. Assv

Monday 8 February 1779

Present as on Saturday except Thomas Sim Lee Esqr
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Capt.
Robert Dashiell One thousand one hundred and sixty four
Pounds, four shillings & nine Pence per pay list and also the
further sum of Forty one Pounds, thirteen shillings & six Pence
per Acct passed by the Aud. Genl
That the said Treasurer pay to Comr Thomas Grason ninty
Pounds the Bounty paid by him to the following Seamen,
Richard Savoy, John Williams, John Gomas, Richard Forster,
Daniel McCarr, James Montgomery forty Dollars each
That the said Treasurer pay to Commodore Grason four
hundred Pounds to be expended in the Purchase of Plank for
the Use of the Marine of this State to be Accounted for
That the said Treasurer pay to Charles Wallace Esqr One
thousand five hundred Pounds on Account.
