Thirty seven Pounds, ten shillings for the use of Thomas Cal-
vert and also the further Sum of one hundred and twenty four
Pounds, fifteen shillings due to Danl Howley for Cordage per
Accts passed by the Aud. Genl
That the said Treasurer pay to William Hyde six Pounds
for the use of Frederick Holtsman, ninteen Pounds, ten shil-
lings for the use Jacob Crist and twelve Pounds for the use of
Angel Morningstar per Accounts passed by the Aud Genl
That the said Treasurer pay to Solomon Sparrow four hun-
dred and seventy four Pounds per Account passed by the
Auditor General
James Hannesey who was sent to Camp as a Vagrant from
Frederick County, returned by Genl Smallwood and sent on
board the Gallies Appearing to be unfit for Duty is hereby
discharged from the Service

Thursday 1 October 1778
Present as on Yesterday except his Excellency
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer Pay to Joseph
Cowman Junr Seventy Pounds per Acct passed by the Aud
Genl
That the said Treasurer Pay to Charles Downes Twenty one
Pounds five Shillings and four Pence for the use of Thomas
Dawson per Accts passed by the Aud. Genl
That the said Treasurer pay to Charles Downes Ten Pounds,
five Shillings for the use of Samuel Wickes per Acct passed by
the Prinl Cl. to A Gl

Present as on Yesterday
Ordered that the Commissary of Stores deliver to Josiah
Tannehill Adjnt. to Colo Rawlings Regiment Cloth for i suit
of Cloaths with Trimings, 2 pair of Shoes, 2 pair of Stockings
and Linnen for 2 Shirts

Sir
We want to know what Number of Blanketts can be pro-
cured in Baltimore; please to make Inquiry and inform us of
the Prices, Quality and Sizes, engage if you can, the Preference
to the State, our Answer will be given immediately. We
shall be glad to know if the Galley on the Stocks was sold.
We have heard that Mr Smith has Blanketts at 12 Dollars.
