here in Linen had cloth and that they all had Blanketts. We
yesterday purchased two hundred Blanketts and have about
four hundred suits of Cloaths nearly made up, which we shall
send to the Maryland Troops, unless you can get them imme-
diately furnished and shall purchase, at any Time what further
may be necessary, for Policy and Humanity bid us not to rely

Saturday Morning.

also whether you can place Money at Camp, for the Inlistment
of the Drafts &ca It is very disagreeable and inconvenient for
the Post to go out always in a few Hours after his coming in ;

we wish you to have it altered. Jonathan Parker would- ride
to and from Baltimore and, if he received the Mail in any
reasonable Time in Baltimore, would come to this Place on
Thursday Night.
