Johns, four Pounds one shilling and eight Pence per Acct
passed by the Aud Genl
That the said Treasurer Pay to John Chever Thirty Pounds,
two shillings and six Pence due to him per Acct passed by the
Aud Genl
That the said Treasurer Pay to Hellen Devenish fourteen
Pounds fourteen shillings amt of Account passed by the Aud.

Tuesday 28 July 1778.

Present as on yesterday.
It appearing from several Depositions lodged with this
Board that Edward Scott of Dorchester County who was en-
listed by Capt Eccleston is according to the Promise and
Engagement of Capt Eccleston entitled to his Discharge. It
is therefore Ordered that the said Edward Scott be not taken
or treated in any manner as a Deserter or Soldier until the
further Order of the Governor and Council to whom Applica-
tion is to be made if a hearing on this Subject is desired.
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer Pay to Capt.
Thomas Coursey Ninty one Pounds sixteen shillings as per
Account passed by the Aud. Genl
That the said Treasurer Pay to John Dawson Thirty six
Pounds sixteen shillings and three Pence per Acct passed by
the Aud. Genl
It being represented to this Board by James Calhoun Esqr
Deputy Quarter Master General for the western shore of this
State that a number of Waggons are now wanted to carry
Flour belonging to the Continent to convenient Landings
from several Mills in Baltimore and Harford Counties, where
the same has been manufactoried for the use of the Army. It
is requested that the Magistrates of those Counties respec-
tively will on the Application of the said James Calhoun or
other Person or Persons acting under him, issue Warrants for
the impressing Waggons necessary for carrying the said flour
to convenient Landings, directing the Warrants to the Con-
stables of the Hundreds and requiring them to impress the
Number of Waggons and Teams mentioned in the warrants
respectively so that the Burthen may be divided as nearly
equal as may be
