Saturday 18th July 1778

Present as on Yesterday
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer Pay to George
Keeports six hundred and thirty five Pounds, thirteen shillings
and ten Pence Balance of Acct passed by the Aud. Genl
That the said Treasurer Pay to George Keeports eighteen
Pounds fifteen shillings for the use of Mathew Patton per Acct
passed by the A Gl
That the said Treasurer Pay to Capt. George Keeports one
hundred Pounds on Account.
Commission issued to John Callahan appointed Register of
the Land Office for the western Shore in the room of St George
Peale deceased.
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer Pay to John Con-
coa nine hundred and ten Pounds, ten shillings due to him
per Acct passed by the Aud. Genl

Monday 20 July 1778.

Present as on Saturday except Thos Sim Lee & Daniel
Carroll Esqrs
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to John
Chalmers three hundred and forty eight Pounds, one shilling
and five Pence for the use of Captain Edward Noel Junr & his
Company as per Accounts passed by the Aud. Genl
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer Pay to Capt.
Charles Williamson sixty nine Pounds, seventeen shillings per
Acct passed by the Aud. Genl
That the said Treasurer Pay to Richard Beard five Pounds,
five shillings per Acct passed by the Aud. Genl
That the said Treasurer Pay to Samuel Stanning Thirty one
Pounds thirteen shillings and nine Pence amt of Acct passed
by the p. Cl. to A. G.
That the said Treasurer Pay to Colo Chambers two thousand
six hundred Pounds to be delivered over to Ezekiel Forman
Esqr Paymt to the E Shore Militia and to be expended in
Settling said Mila Accts

By the Resolution of the Assembly the Money issued on
Account of the Eastern Shore Militia is to be first applied;
We wished to be ascertained whether the application has been
