three years and that you are willing that he should enter. As
a Drummer from the Train of Artillery deserted some Time
ago was taken up in Wilmington and, as we have understood,
is in the Continental Service; we request you will discharge
the young Fellow, on his enlisting in the Service of the State
for three years, in Place of the above Deserter.

Present as on yesterday except Danl Carroll Esqr
Ordered That the western shore Treasurer pay to John
Brewer one Pound three shillings and six pence per Acct
passed by the A Genl
That the said Treasurer pay to Henry L. Massey eighty six
Pounds sixteen shillings and three Pence due to him and lhe
Hands of the Boat Amelia per Acct passed by the Aud. Genl
That the said Treasurer pay to William Goldsmith ninty
six pounds five shillings and the further sum of Thirty one
pounds and one Penny due him per Accts passed by the Aud
Genl
That the said Treasurer pay to John Green twenty four
Pounds ten shillings for the use of Doctr George Robinson
per Acct passed by the Aud Genl
That the said Treasurer pay to George Evins a Recruit for
the Term of three years procured by Robert Orme from
Prince Georges County a Draught for Nine Months sixty
Dollars
That Mr Crysall furnish Capt. Massey with 15 Gallons
Whiskey for the Boat Amelia
That the Commissary of Stores deliver to Richard Sapping-
ton Surgeon Assistant to the 3d Regt Sagathy for a Coat
Linen for two pair Breeches two Waistcoats two Shirts and
one pair Shoes.
Commissions of a Letter of Marque & Reprisal issued
Jonathan Parsons master of the Sloop called the Fly mounting
two Swivel Guns navigated by six men, belonging to Samuel
& Robert Purviance and others of Baltimore also to Henry
Geddis master of the Schooner called the Savage mounting
four Carriage Guns & four Swivels navigated by twelve men
belonging to Saml & Robert Purviance and others of Baltimore
Robert Orme from Prince Georges County a Draught for
nine Months having procured George Ennis to serve in the
Continental Army for the term of three years is therefore
Discharged
