Brown of the Artillery is acquainted with those Facts and that
you would have discharged him, but that you did not look on
it that you could, properly, as he was only inlisted in the State
Service. We request, if Mason's State is made appear to
you to be true, that you will discharge him and you are hereby
impowered to do so; if the Allegations are true, Colo Price
has acted very improperly

Present as on yesterday.
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Athana-
sius Ford nineteen Pounds six shillings and three pence per
Acct passed by the Aud. Genl
That the said Treasurer Pay Jacob Young four Pounds
ten shillings for the use of Jacob Arent for a Gun per Acct
passed by the A Genl
That the said Treasurer Pay to Elisha Williams eleven
Pounds for the use of Benjamin Girten per Acct passed by the
Aud. Genl
That the said Treasurer Pay to William Jones one hundred
and ten Pounds six shillings and five Pence for the use of John
Rodgers & his Company one hundred and forty two Pounds
nine shillings and two Pence for the use of Charles Baker and
his Compy and eleven Pounds seventeen shillings and nine
Pence for the use of Lieut Edward Bussey & his Company
as per Pay rolls examined and Passed by the Auditor General
That the said Treasurer Pay to William Jones sixty Pounds
due to him for enlisting ten Recruits per Acct passed by the
Aud Genl
That the said Treasurer Pay to Benson Stainton one hun-
dred and eleven Pounds for the use of William Ritch per Acct
passed by the A G.
Tbat the said Treasurer Pay to Michal Fields sixty Dollars
due him as Bounty he having been enlisted in Saint Marys
County.
That the said Treasurer Pay to James Orrick three Pounds
for the use of James Scott due per Acct passed by the Aud
Genl
Samuel Hanson Junr second Major of the twenty sixth Batt
of Militia in Charles County resigns his Commission which is
accepted off by the Governor & Council
On Examination of Thomas Seon, who Appears by his own
Confession to have been an Ensign in the fifth Regiment of
