laski's Legion; we are not able to furnish it here nor,
probably, shall be 'til our Gallies return with the Linen from
below. The Capt says you and Mr Calhoun have Linen if
either of you have, we wish these Recruits to be supplied,
with those Articles, as the other Recruits of the Quota of this
State, charging that Corps separate, for the Convenience of
selling Accounts with the Continent.

Wednesday 10th June 1778.

Present as on yesterday.
Ordered That the western shore Treasurer Pay to Daniel
Munro two Pounds five shillings to be delivered over to John
Annis Amount of Account passed by the Principal Clerk to
the Aud Genl
That the said Treasurer Pay to Joseph Baffin one hundred
Pounds nine shillings and two Pence for the use of Capt.
Byas & his Company three pounds twelve shillings due to
the Guard at Cambridge twenty five Pounds eleven shillings
& eleven Pence due to Capt. Vickars & his Compy two
Pounds five shillings for the use of James Brookshire & two
pounds five shillings for the use of John Vincent, as per Accts
passed by the Aud. Genl
That the said Treasurer pay to Joseph Daffin one hundred
and forty two pounds eighteen shillings for the use of the
Militia on Guard at Cambridge per Acct passed by the Aud.

Ordered That the western shore Treasurer pay to Richard
Crabb ten Pounds fifteen shillings for the use of Thomas
Nicholls Junr ten Pounds fifteen shillings for the use of Thomas
Nicholls Senr and ten Pounds fifteen shillings for the use of
Joshua Harbin per Certificates allowed by the Aud. General.
Commissions issued to Nicholas Hall appointed Captain of
a Company of Militia of which William Brashears was Cap-
tain in Frederick County.

In Council Annapolis 10th June 1778.
Sir.
Mr Baldesqui has been so obliging as to deliver your Letter
and be the Bearer of this. It is very desirable that the Brig at
Baltimore should be employed, but the Claim of her former
Owner Capt Stone, has hitherto prevented any Thing being
