belonging to the Congress, which you will receive and deliver
to Colo Henry Hollingsworth, at the Head of Elk. The
Blankets, we are informed, belong to Virginia of which
acquaint Colo Hollingsworth, that he may dispose of them
accordingly. A Number of Recruits are Expected at Cam-
bridge, from Somerset County; you are to carry them to the
Head of Elk; if the Recruits should not be at Cambridge
sooner, you will wait two Days for them, but not longer. Mr
Thomas takes this Opportunity of going over the Bay, you'll
set him on Shore at Oxford, or where else he pleases.

Ordered That the Armourer deliver to Capt Segond of
Pulaski's Corps two Horse Trumpets
Commissions issued to John Bracco, Samuel Chamberlaine,
John Stevens, Thomas Sherwood and John Markland appointed
Judges of the Court of Appeals for Talbot County and also
to Outen Sturgis Thomas Martin Ebenezer Handy, William
Morris and Thomas Purnell Judges of the Court of Appeals for
Worcester County according to the Act of Assembly.
Ordered That the western shore Treasurer pay to Elie
Vallette twelve pounds, ten shillings per Account passed by
the Aud. Genl
That the said Treasurer pay to William Logan eleven
Pounds due to him per Acct passed by the Aud. Genl
That Mr Crysall deliver to Capt. Maybury thirty Pound of
Candles for the use of the Hospital

Annapolis 27th May 1778.
Capt Ross.
You are to proceed with your Schooner to Patowmack Creek
in Virginia and there apply for and lade as much of the Con-
tinental Pork as your vessel will carry. I do not know whose
Care the Pork is under, or I would write to him. You are
to take a Memorandum of the Quantity, signed by the Person
who delivers it to you; with it you are to proceed to the
Head of Elk, deliver it to Colo Henry Hollingsworth or his
Agent and take his Receipt. If you should be disappointed
in getting the Pork at Pato Creek, in your Way down, call on
Mr Bernard ONeal on Wiccomico, St Mary's County and take
in the Provisions he has, or any other Public Stores, so as to
