     And fforasmuch as the ffieet are likely to Sail and there- Lib. H. D.

   with the sd Rogers his Ship before the next Court and the

   ifact by the sd Slye and Scurrye being a Notorious Interrup

   tion of Trade and of ill Example to Others evilly intended if

   Speedy Remedye be not had herein yor Peticonr humbly prays

   yor Exncy to grant him a Spll Commission to any prsons Jus

   tices either of the Provll or County Court of Charles County

   to hear & determine the sd matters in some Short time after

   the partyes can be arrested & Declaracons delivered them;

   And tht the Court house of the County may be the place

   appointed for the Same And that the Writts Issuing out of

   the Provll Court may be Return'd to the sd Spll Court with

   Such Necessary Clauses as to yor wisdom shall seem Expe

   dient therein that so the matters may be heard & determined

   before the going out of the ffleet and the sd Rogers Relieved

   in the prmises.

   The Sd Petition was by Ordr And as in Duty bound yor Pe

   indorsed as followes, Vizt titionr shall ever Pray &ca

   Ordr Re- Ordered tht the within peticon be Referred to Mr

   ferred for his   I -

   Mats Coun- Attorney Genll & M' Goldesborough one of his Mats

   cillors Report Councillors at Law for them to make Report whats

   on the above

   Peticon. most proper & Legall to be done therein.

   The Report We are of Opinion that Such a Commission as

    the Petitionr hath prayed stands very well with the

   at Law abt a Rules of Law, and may be granted if yor Exncy

   C omm issi on

          Annapolis in Ordr to make up his Accots with the
