       Lib. H. D.     Which we shall lay before his Maty together with what you

             desire about a small Vessell to Cruize upon that Coast.

              25: In the last place, as for yor desire that a Court of

             Exchequer may be Erected in that Province, we Suppose yor

             intention therein will be answered by the Settlement of a Court

             of Admiralty there; about which we have Reason to believe

             some Order is or will be Speedily taken; so we bid you

             heartily ffarewell.       Yor Loving ffriends

             The honrble Coll: Charles Hutchins

                     Coll: David Brown

                     James ifrisby Esqr

      

             Ordr for Ordered that the following Oath be administred

             Mastrs of

             ships to by the Collector & Navll Officer of each respective

         p. 400 abt their District unto all the Masters of Ships (exporting

             Tobacco  Tobo) at their clearing and that in case of the Mas

             Exported ters Refusing to Swear that then the Boatswaine or

             &ccaother Officer imployd in the stowing & keeping

      

      

             accot of the sd Tobacco make Oath thereto.

      

                    The Oath followes, Vizt

      

      Whitehall Oath to be You do swear that the Accot of the Tobo by you

              taken by the Severall now given, Shiped on board the this prsent

      

      

             Mastrs of voyage is a true & Just Accot both of the Tobacco

             Ships &ca in hogsheads and Bulk, and that no person or per

      

      

             sons whatsoever besides had to doe or were actually concern'd

             in the Shiping on board any other Tobacco than the Accot

             now given, and that you do not intend to take any more

             Tobacco on board this prsent Voyage nor suffer the same to

             be done, without giving an accot thereof to the Kings Officer

             &cca before you depart the province.

 

                                        So help you God.
