declare my minde & opinion therein, according to my heart Lib. C. B. & conscience And if any of the said Treaties or Councills shall touch any of the privy Councillors of the Province I will not Reveale the same Unto him soe touched or concerned but will keepe the same secret, Untill such time as by the consent of their Majties or their Governor or Comander in Chiefe here for the time being publication shall be made thereof I will alsoe as a Councillor and as a Justice & Commissionr for con servation of the peace of this Province doe equall Right Unto the Poore and to the Rich to the best of my Understanding & J udgemt according to the Laws from time to time in force within this Province, and in default thereof according to my best discretion and generally in all things will doe as a ifaith lull Councillor to their said Majesties. Soe help me God.
Oath of Clerk of the Councill.
I A: B: doe sweare that I will well and truely Execute the place and Office of Clerk of their Majties Councill within this Province of Maryland, The Secrets thereof I will faithfully keepe & not divulge or comunicate them to any without par ticular Lycense or leave soe to doe, a true and perfect Record I will keepe of the Proceedings thereof soe farr forth as I can Collect the same, and in all things will I act & doe as to the place & Office of Clerk of their Majties Councill belongeth according to the best of my Judgemt skill & Understanding. Soe help me God.
Oath of Comissary of the Prerogative Office, the same being administered Unto Mr Kenelm Cheseldyn, before the Honble Nicholas Greenberry Esq president of the Coun ciii, the 4th day of Octobr Anno 1693 and followeth in these Words. You doe Sweare that you will Execute & performe the Office of Comissary Generall of this Province, according to the Tenor of the Comission now granted you, and that you will administer justice to all persons, relateing to probate of Wills and Granting Administrations and in all other things belong ing to your said Office according to the best of your knowl edge & Understanding, and that you make or cause to be made a true and perfect faire Record of all your Proceedings in your said Office, and that you will secure and preserve the Records already comitted or to be comitted to yor Charge belonging to the said Office to the best of yor care and Under standing—
