    that the Master of such Ship on whom such ifurs are put on Lib, H. D.

    board, delivered to the Officer of such Port where he clears

    his Ship the Certificate so Granted has justly satisfyed the

    Duty of such ffurs as are mentioned in the sd Certificate and

    being Obliged to make due clearing of what more he has on

    board, all of which is humbly Submitted to Yor Exncy by

    lowed &cca Dated the 19th of December last past, relating to

    the 20 p Cent allowed to his mats Collectors for Collecting

    the 1s p pound and Concerning the Comptrollers & Surveyors

    Office being let fall &ca the wch his Exncy gave to the sd Mr

    Muschamp to peruse and take Notice off, which was by him Whitehall

    perused accordingly and a Copy thereof Ordered to be given

    him.

   

    Comodores Read a Letter by his Exncy received from Capt

    Lre abt the         —

    arrivall of a Charles Wager Comodore of the Virga & Maryland

    Ship. ffleet, Dated the 13th of this instant Septemb. giv- p. 393

   

    ing an Acct of the Arrivall of one of the Ships belonging to

    the ffleet, called the intelligence, Jonas Moats Master, six

    days before, being brought by Capt Josias Dan” Commander

    of his Mats hired Ship the Prince of Orange. His Exncy is Whitehall

    pleased to Signifye that the sd Capt Daniell acquainted him,

    that the Comodores Ordrs were to Stay a hundred days after

    the Arrivall of the ffleet, and that he intended to Reckon the

    sd days from the sd last Ships Arrivall.

   

    Ordr abt Upon Representation and by Advice in Councill

    not to Reside Ordered that no ffrenchmen be suffered to seat in-

    in this   habite or Reside, upon any fforreign Plantations or

    province, places Scituate upon the ifrontiers of this province.
