     Oath to the sd proceedings; Ordered thereupon that the sd Lib. H. D.

     Ordinance of Assembly and all other Ordrs from this Board

     relating thereto be suspended and Set aside, And that the sd

     Withers Answer and pay unto the sd Vestrymen the afore

     mentioned Sume of 6030 lbs of Tobo by them to be disposed off

     according as they have already Ordered and that vpon the sd

     Withers refusall or delay of paymt they proceed agt him to

     Recover the same by Law.

    

     Clerk of Ordered that the Clerk of Somerset County Court,

     Somerset

     countycourtreturn an Accot of the particulars of the publick

     Ordrd to Leavy laid for that County last Year; which by his Whitehall

    

     fect List Return (here Received) does not appear to be done,

     the Co: Levy pursuant to former Ordr

    

     Ordr for the Vpon Representation and by Advice in Councill

     vestry's or Dor. Co: to Received; Ordered that the Vestrys of the two

        Chap- Parishes belonging to Dorchester County build a

     el of ease in      .

     each parish    Chappell of Ease in Each parrish in some place lying

            most convenient to the parishionrs with the Consent

     of the majr part thereof; provided they have any Tobo lying in Whitehall

     Banck for doing of the Same.

    

     Coll Addison Vpon Representation, Ordered that the honrble

    

            Coll:   John Addison be dispenced with this present

     attending the sessions of Assembly from attending at the Councill

    

     prsent Councill Board here and that he make a Journey up to the Whitehall

            Garrison to See all things right Order'd there, and

     give such necessary directions upon this Advice of Indians&ca

     as he shall find Occasion.

    

    

                ffryday July the third 1696.

      The Councill again Sate and were pTsent as Yesterday

     except Coll Brown.

     Ordr for   Came John Salter and Thomas Brough who

     prosecution

     of John   according to Summons, made their personal appear-

     Salterance; the sd Salter (pursuant to Ordr) producing the

    

     Agreemt by him Enter'd into with the Commissionrs of Talbot Whitehall

     County Cort about leasing the sd Court house which was Read.

      His Exncy asks him how he Came to Require an allowance

     for Repairs of the sd House, Seeing he is Obliged by Agreemt p. 365

     to keep the same in Repair who makes Answer that it was for

     an Alteration made therein; He is asked whether he has Recd

     the Tobo allowed him for the Same, who says he has; Ordered

     thereupon that Mr Attorney and Sollicitor Gen” prosecute the
