ready Goods, this is to remind & Ordr all such Vestry's SO Lib. H. D. concern'd, that they duly comply with & observe the aforesd severall Ordrs & Ordinances being now well assured that Tobacco is & will be a good comodity this year. And I do hereby Ordr & Command that the said severall Vestrys do likewise take care & Ordr that a certain Act of Assembly of this province made in May last, Entituled an Act restraining the frequent assembling of Negro's within this province be published & read in their severall & respective parish Churches, ifour times every year, pursuant to the directions of the sd Act, And that all Negros (wandring or going abroad otherwise than as in the sd Act is directed) be taken vp & punished accordingly: And to the end due Notice hereof may p. 295 be given I do further Command that the severall Sherriffs of the province proclaim this in all Churches, Chappells & other publick Meetings within their respective Counties to which all persons concern'd are to yield due & ready obedience, as they & every of them will answer the contrary at their perill; Given at the port of Annapolis, vnder the Broad Seal of the Province, this 25th day of Janry in the 7th year of his Mats Reign &c. On the back of the sd proclamation was writ the following Ordr Vizt
By his Exncy the Governr &c. Janry the 29th 1695 Sherriffs to Ordered that the Sherriff of each respective County Collect the . . Tobo from within this province take care to Collect & receive the publick this year, from the severall Officers living within their Officers pur. to the Bayliwick (having any place or places of profit) all Act of such sume & sumes of Tobacco, as the Act of Whitehall Assembly of this province has directed to be assessed
and Leavyed from such Officers for the publick vse. Signed p Ordr H Denton C of Concil.
By his Exncy the Governr &Ca Janry the 25th 1695. Ordr to the Ordered that the Colonel of each respective County within this Province take care to get dili
relating to gently Viewed the severall Arms belonging to the the publick Countrey, wheresoever the same are lodged within Arms their respective limits & Command; so that such
Arms as are found impossible or difficult to be fixed here, be Whitehall sent for England, by some safe & trusty hand to be fixed there; and further that they give notice to the severall Officers
