    Lib. H. D. papers to be     or take any other ffees than what by Law are setled

                    or allowed to be taken; And that for the future no

             of Annapo- publick papers be carryed out of the port of Annap

             lis C olis, but that all business there done, be made vp &

      

       Whitehall finished in that place & the papers thereof lodged in their

             proper Offices there, hereby commanding the Sherrifis of the

             province to publish this Ordr in all public places within their

             respective Counties.

      

             Ordr touch- Vpon Representation, Ordered that the Vestry-

             ing the Ves-                  .

             try's, what men of the sever all and respective Parishes within

             inside this Province be obliged to perform & see finished,

      

      

                Worke they are obliged within their respective parish Churches, no other

             to perform inside worke than Vizt plastering the Walls, making

      

             Churches the pulpit, the Reading pew & Clerks Desk, to pro-

       Whitehall vide a Communion table & Raile in the same; And

         p. 271  as for all other pews & seats, that the severall Parishioners be

             at charge of making the same according to their own liking.

             And it is hereby further ordered that the Sheriffs of the Prov

             ince give Copy of this Order to the severall Vestrys within

             their respective Precincts.

      

      

                      March the 5th 1695/6.

      

               The Councill again Sate & were prsent as before except

             Coll Addison.

      

             Tho:     Halls Read a petition of Thomas Hall of Calvert

             mittance of County, therein praying the Remittance of a ffine of

             ffine Granted 1000 lbs of Tobo inflicted vpon him by the Commis

      

       Whitehall sioners of the sd Court, and the substance in the petition set

             forth seeming reasonable, it was Ordered that the said ffine

             should be remitted accordingly.

             Mr Danll Produced & read a rough draught of a Commis

                    sion appointing Mr Daniell Pierce riding Surveyor of

      

             Riding Sur- Caecill County and the Counties adjacent, being by

       Whitehall veyor in Caecill Order drawn for the better preventing the foule

             County trade carryed on betwixt pensilvania & those parts,

             thereby Empowering the honoble James ifrisby Esqr to Admin

             ister to the said Pierce the Oaths appointed by Act of par

             liament to be taken instead of the Oaths of Allegiance &

         p. 300  Supremacy & Test; as also the Oath of Trade & Navigation

             and that he take like Bond for his due performance of the said

             Office as vsually is given by the Navall Officers; the said Com

             mission was approved off & Ordered to be Engrossed and tht

             Copy of the Bond & Act of Trade & Navigation should be
