             Coll Charles HutchinsThomas Brook Esqr

             Coll David Brown James ffrisby Esqr

     

            Clk of Cal- Came John Eizey Clerk of Calvert County Court

            vert Co: Court & made Oath to a List of ffines by him presented to

     

            swears to the Board to be a true Copy from off the Record of

            List of ffines

                   that County Court.

     

            Oath to be Came Capt William Dent his Majesties Sollicitor

            taken by

            Clk of the Genll and presented to the Board an Oath drawn vp

            Indictmts to be Administred to the Clerks of the Indictmts pur

      Whitehall prsented to the Board suant to the Ordr of this Board yesterday passed,

                   withall saying that as to an Oath to be given the

            County Clerks, there is no need of it, by reason they take an

            an Oath for the due Execution of their Office vpon their

            admission.

                    The Oath follows, Vizt

            Clerk of the You shall well & truly Execute & perform the

            Indictments    .

     Whitehall Oath  Office of his Majesties Clerk of the Indictmts for

                   prosecutor of his Majesties pleas in County

            Court according to the jurisdiction of the Court You shall

            not decrease or lessen his Mats Dues, by any ffines, fforfietures

            or other legall means accruing, but to the Utmost of your

            skill and power do his Mats service therein. You shall not be

            of Councill or give Councill with any agt his Majesty or

            whereby his Dues or profits may be lessened or diminished,

            but in all things according to the best of your skill & power

            well and truly serve his said Majesty in the sd Office while you

            shall continue therein, and to see all Criminalls duly prosecuted

                       So help you God.

     

              Read a Petition preferred by James Crawford of Calvert

            County as follows, Vizt
