      At a Councill held at the Port of Annapolis the third day of P 222

    October, in the Seaventh year of his Majesties Reign &Ca

    Annoq Domini, 1695

                         Present

        His Excellency ffrancis Nicholson Esqr Capt Genll

   

      Coll Nicho Greenberry  Thomas Brook Esqr

      The honoble Coll John Addison

      Coll John Courts       James ffrisby Esqr

    Ordr touch- Produced and read a Letter received by his

    ing Seizure

    of Mr Exncy from Henry Denton DeptY Collector of the

    Smiths Port of Annapolis touching his seizure of a Sioop

    Sloop Called the Robert & Ann belonging to Mr Robert

   

    Smith of Chester River; Ordered that the Sd Letter & other

    papers relating thereto be Referred to be consulted by Mr Whitehall

    Attorney & Sollicitr Generall, and that the said Sloop be

    brought to Tryall & proceeded against pursuant to the direc

    tions of the Law in that case.

   

                   October the 4th 1695

      The Councill again Sate & were present as Yesterday with

    the Addition of the honoble Coll Charles Hutchins & Coll Whitehall

    David Brown

   

    County Clks Ordered that the County Clerks & Clerks of the

    &ca to appear &swear Indictmts come and appear before his Exncy in Coun

     the ffines    cill this night or to morrow morning to make Oath

           to the severall ffines passed in the County Courts of Whitehall

   

    this Province pursuant to the Ordr of Councill in August last,

    And that Mr Attorney & Sollicitor Genll prepare an Oath

    against that time, proper to be taken by the sd County Clerks

    and Clerks of the Indictments.
