                        May 28th 1695.

            The Vestry's Ordered that the Sherriff of each respective

            Order'd to

            comply with County forthwith give notice to the Vestry's of the

            the severall severall parishes within their Counties tht without

            directions

            Enjoyn'd faile they punctually comply with all & every the

            them by the particulars and Directions enjoynd them by a certain

            Additionall

            Act for Re- Act Intituled an Addiconall Act to the Act of Re

            ligion & to ligion, as also make Return of all their pceedings

            make Return

            of their pro- at any time had and taken (if not already return'd

            ceedings&Ca pursuant to former Order) as likewise of their due

            complyance with the aboue mentioned Act, Unto his Exncy at

            Annapolis, by August Court next, Under paine of being pro-

            ceeded against according to Law, And further Ordered that

            the Sherriffs take a particular Accot of the parties to whom

            they give such notice & make return of the same at the day

            and place afd. under risk of being displaced.

            Justices of     Ordered that the Justices of the Severall County

            Courts to     Courts within this Province ffinish and determine all

            finish all    Causes now depending in the said Courts either this

            Business

            &canext June Court or in August Court after at farthest,

            Under the pain and perill that may fall thereon,And

      that the Sherriffs cause this Order to be read in Open Court.

            Lands & exactness in taking & Laying down the plats of any

            Survey made, Wee have constituted Ordained and Appointed

            And by these presents Wee do Constitute Ordain & appoint

            you the said Robert Smith to be our Surveyor and Examiner

            Genll within all the limitts & precincts of our Province of

            Maryland Giveing & Granting vnto you hereby full power &

            authority to inspect & Examine all manner of Certificates of

            Survey or Resurvey of Land & plats of the same which at any
