Under neath the said Ordr was thus written, Vizt Lib. H. D. Mr Plater Mr Plater
Order'd to Appoint You are likewise by Order abouesaid to give Deputies at Notice to the severall Mars of Ships as they come to Annapolis & Wm Stadt Cleare, that such Ships as for the future come to the &Ca port of Annapolis or William Stadt, that they go
directly to the said Ports for to Enter, Officers being there appointed for their Entring &ca You being hereby likewise Ordered to appoint & place DeptY Collectors vnder you in the said two places, and you are further to give Notice that such Ships as go into Caecill County, Stop at Annapolis to Enter, & not at Petuxant. Lastly if the ships have not Entered & Cleared with Majr Smithson, that they be Entered & cleared by you on your DeptY there till further Ordrs from his EXnCY John Watson Esqr his Petition praying to be dismissed from further serving at the Provll Court is dismissed accordingly, by reason of his remote living from this place.

Accot of Governr Copleys protested Bill and Damages amount ing to the suffle of 453 l sterl: were sent to the house of Bur gesses And their Answer thereto inclosed; this comes to signify to your honrs that (by my inadvertency & Neglect to whom the care of makeing up that pacquet was committed) I forgot to inclose the said Answer but have herewth sent it, hoping your honts will be pleased to pardon this Error coThitted & therein I shall always wth thankfull Remembrance acknowledg the favour done to your Honors Most Oblidged & Humble Servant Hen. Denton
