The abousaid Post is to Set forward his stages from New tons point (God Willing) the last Munday in June next and this is to give notice that all Letters that are brought or Sent to the Port of Annapolis are ordered to be delivered into the Secretaryes Office for all persons, to have Recourse to.
Came George Plater Esqr and produced to the p. 175 Collection Board his Accots of Collection of the 1s p hogshead of the 1s p hhd Impost within the districts of Petuxant and Poto mock which made Oath that the same were just and true Accots during his Officiating the Navall Officers place for Whitehall those two Districts
Mr Philip Came Mr Philip Clarke & made Oath to his Acct Clarks Oath . to his Accot of Collection of the Is p hhd Impost within the Dis of the trict of Potomock afd that the same is a just & true Whitehall
Acct during his time of Officiating that place.
Majr Robt Delivered in at the Board Majr Robt King his Kings Oath . . to his Acct Acct of the Is p hhd Impost by him Collected within of the 1s p the District of Pocomoke & sworn to before his hh Exncy the Governr in Presence of Thomas Tench &
Edward Randolph Esqrs two of their Mats honble Councill and
George Layfield Esqr their Mats Collector of Pocomock Dis- Whitehall trict, that the same is a Just & true Accot
3/4 ths of the Ordered that the said severall Officers pay unto Order'd to his Exncy the Governr the three fourth parts of the be paid to aforementioned Impost by them Collected since the his Excell . Arrivall of his Exncy upon his Exncys Warrant unto Whitehall them directed for the same; and that the remaining fourth part be duly applyed towards the maintaining the Magazine with Arms & Amunition for the defence of this Province pursuant to his Sacred Mats Royall Instructions. Came George Plater Esqr their Mats Receiver Genll & acknowledged that he had Received according to his Exnciess Ordrs and directions prsently after his Arrivall in Bills & other- Whitehall wise to the full Vallve of the ffourth part of the 1d p hhd as by the above three Accots adjusted appeares, and had sent to Capt Pagan for the severall Armes &ca following pursuant to Ordr
