just true and fair Record you shall duly & truly make or cause Lib. H. D. to be made thereof; You shall do no falshood nor consent to any to be done in the Court, And if you know of any you shall inform his Exncy the Governr or other Judge of the same Court that it may be reformed you shall delay no man that has to do with you in your said Office, either for Envy, hatred or hopes of gain; You shall increase no flees but be content with the ffees limitted or to be limitted by Law or the Order of the Court; and finally you shall Well & faithfully Execute the Office of Clerk or Register of this honble Court, while you shall continue in the same, & till you shall be Lawfully discharged thereof So help you God. Oath of You shall Swear that as Marshall of their Mats Marshall of . . the Admir- Court of Admiralty in this Province, You shall well Whitehall altyCort&Ca and truly serve their said Mats & their honble Judge
in all Things appertaining to the said Office and place accord ing to the usages; practice & presidents of the said Court in this Province. You shall duly & truly Execute all such Writts precepts & process as shall be to you directed issueing out of the said Court and make due and true Returne thereof, and see that their Mats Rights be duly preserved, You shall delay no man of Envy hatred or Malice you shall take no bribe to pervert Justice, you shall do no fraud nor consent to any to be done in the said Court, And if you know of any to be done you shall informe their Mats Judge thereof that it may be reformed, and finally you shall well, faithfully & truly behave yourselfe in the said Office of Marshall of the said Court so long as you shall continue in the same.
