   them it will be much the concern of Maryland as well as of

   posed a new Sheme of a joynt assistance wch is inclosed the

   Governor Pursuant to an Order of his Excellency in Coun

          cill dated the 30th of August last Wee have made the

   Scheme of Computation what the charge will amount to for

   a Joynt assistance maintaining of five hundred Soldiers with their

   to Maryland proper Officers which of Absolute Necessity are

          required to be continued at Albany and the out

   Garrisons of that ifrontier to secure the same and to prevent Whitehall

   a further defecon of the ffive Indian Nations together wtb the

   Ordinary charge which this Governmt for severall years past

   has been at in Presents to the said ffive Nations and to Com

   pute the same as followeth

   For 5 Capt at 8s p diem is for one year    £ 730 oo    00 p. 141

   For 10 Lievts at 4s p diem is for one year   £    730 00    00

   For 15 Sergeants at 1s 10d is for one year   £    501 17    o6

   For 15 Corporalls at 1s pd is for one year £ 365 00    00

   For 10 drummers at 1s 4d is for one year£243 o6   o8

   For 500 Private Soldiers at 2d p diem is for one

       year                               00 00

   For 1 Adjutant at 4s is for one year         73 00     00

   For i Comissary at 2s 6d p day is for one yeare        £ 45 I         206

       hospitall for Sick men transportacon of men
