              The following was a Certificate brought from the Provinciall

             Court, of Mr Thomas Brisco's being sworn Navall Officer there.

                     These may Certifye whom it may concern that the

                   Bearer hereof Thomas Brisco of Calvert County

                   Gent hath in open Court taken the Oaths appointed

                   by Act of Parliamt as also the Oath of Navall Officer

                   for Petuxant District, Witness my hand this Tenth

                   day of November, in the Sixth year of their Majts
