Vnderneath the sd List was the following Receipt.
November the 14th 1694. Governors Then Recd of Mrs Elizabeth Blackiston Adminis Receipt for tratrix of the above named Nea the above mentioned
Exch: dd by Bills Amounting to the Suffle of One hundred & Madam Blackiston ffive pounds seaven shillings & Eight pence, in part of the Ballance above mentioned, by me ffr Nicholson Vnderneath the Sd Receipt was thus written, Vizt
Novembr 15th 1694. We Acknowledge to have Recd the above Bills of his Exncy according to Ordr of Councill this day. Ed: Randolph Depty Auditr George Plater Receivr Governrs His Excellency likewise Represents that having Representation about Rune through the severall Accounts of the late Qua ter part Governor Copley relating to the publick Revenue in of the Revenue Gover- his life time Received, he finds that the quarter part nor Copley thereof as neare as can be brought Amounts to the made Use off Sume of ifour hundred Seaventy One pounds Twelve Whitehall shillings & ifour pence half penny; for which the Admr of the said Governor Copley must Account; therefore Esqr Randolph and Mr Plater are Ordered to take care therein, and see that due Proceedings be made according to Law.
Governrs His Excellency further Represents that having Representa tion about Examined & Stated the severall Accounts of Capt Capt Coods John Cood relating to their Majts Revenue does find Accot stated that there remains in his hands vnaccounted for the
suifie of ffive hundred thirty two pounds, two shillings and Nine pence, And the said Capt Cood being sent for and Whitehall appearing does say that it being Court time so that he was obliged to tend the said Court, being Sheriffe, otherwise would have gone home (pursuant to former Ordr) and fetcht such papers whereby he could discharge part or all of the afore mentioned sume; Ordered therevpon that the Honoble Edward
