Goverrs His Excency does demand wch way the S'd Sr Severali de- mands re- Edmond came over and wch way he made his returne lateing to Sr To wth is Answered that the first of his coming over was cross Potomocke River to this City of St Maries directly and that he went by Land to Majr Sewalls at Petuxent wch is about twelve miles from the S'd City and from thence went on Board their Majties ffrigott the Henry Prize and So returned to Virginia. Whitehall That his Second comeing was from Virginia in a Boat Cross Potomock River to the City Afsd wch is about Six Leagues and returned the same way back again. His Excency does further demand whether the S'd Sr Edmond did at either the Same times comeing Over take any View of the Militia or do any publick Act besides what Appears in the proceedings of the Journall of the Councill and whether he brought wth him any Sort of Strong Liquors To wch the Gentn of the Councill make Answer that the S'd Sr Edmond went not so much as out of St Maries Save in his goeing to Majr Sewalls in his Returne backe to Virginia and that no publick act was by him done other than what in the Journall of the Councill is Afore expressed And that he brought no strong Liquors wth him Whitehall Produced and read Coppy of a Letter of the 16th of August p. 69 last writt to his Excency Sr Edmond Androse by Georg Plater Esqr their Majties Collector and Receiver as also Sr Edmonds Answer thereto the 31st of the s'd month Ordered that the S'd Letters be entered in the Journall of this Board Vizt

May it please Yor Excency I lately Received a Letter from the Honoble Willm Blathwaite Esqr Auditor Generall of America Dated at Whitehall the 9t day of April 1694 Whereby I am Cornanded to render a State of my Accot of their Majties Reve nue by me Collected to his Excency Collr ffrancis Nich Mr Platers Letter to Sr olson our Governor who is directed by their Majties to Edmond return to England the full Accot of their Majties Rev Androse . . enue wth in this Province ever since the Revolution and alsoe to State the same here (pursueant to my duty) I have rendered to his Excency and Accot of payments made out of their Majties Revenue as also what hath been by me Col Whitehall lected for their Majties Use here and doe find a difficulty and obstruction in passing, that Article of ffive hundred pounds Sterr paid Yor Excency when last here His Excency the Govere nor being dessirous of a further Satisfaction from Yor Self then what I can give him upon what Accot It was paid the Money being Wanted here for Supply of Armes and Amuni tion pursueant to their Majties Comands besides Sr Thomas is to be Allowed his Sallery as President, I must presume to
