          never gave any such directions.

    Representa- It was alsoe Represented that upon Application

    Sr Edmond made by Sevrll persons to the Afsd Sr Edmond about

    Androse &c business depending in this Governmt he the s'd Sr Whitehall

    Edmond did make answer that he dessigned not to concern

    himself further then to keep matters in peace and quietness.

     That the S'd Sr Edmond by Letters Appearing under his

    hand did Order transcripts of the Journall of the Councill to

    be sent him from hence into Virginia as appears by his Letters

    to Coll: Greenberry then President
