            Tryall of the George Layfield Esqr their Majties Collector for

            Ship Anna          . .

            Heliena of for Pocomock District informeing the Board of a

            Belfast Or. certain Vessel by him Siezed Named Anna Hellena

            dered

                   of Belfast, Samuell Murthiand Comor did humbly

            desire a day might be appointed for tryall of the Ship accord

            ing to Law and one Mr Browne Mercht in the sd Vessel like

            wise appearing it was Mutually Agreed vpon that the s'd

            Ship be brought to Tryall third day of Octobr next before the

            Justices of the prov” Court and thereupon Ordered that the

            sd Ship be tryed the day prefixed Accordingly

     

     

                            Septtr the 24th 1694.

              The aforenamed parties together wth Majr King Appear

            Again at the Board to whom his Excency did Signiefye the

            Adjournmt of the provll Court Untill the Sixth day of Novembr

            next and thcrcfor demands of Mr Browne whether he will

            have his Vessel Tryed by A Specll Court or Stay till the

            provll Court according to Adjourmt who makes Answer that

            he had rather Stay till the provll Court Sits than be put

            to the Charge of A Spll Court and thereupon Ordered that

            the.s'd Ship be try'd Seaventh day of Novembr next before

            the Justices of the provll Court Aforesaid.

     

     

     

              At a Councill held Septr 22th 1694

     

                            Present

     

         p. 57  His Excency ffrancs Nicholson Esqr and rest of their Majties

      Whitehall Honoble Councili aforementioned wth the Addition of the
