Evans of the Mary land Flying Camp, and having an inclination of continuing in the Service co'd I be appointed to a First Lieutenancy in the same Company with Thomas Ramsay, for which I apply. Captain Evans will give you my Character and if it is such that you can intrust me with such an Office Shall gladly accept it and acknowledge it as a favor done.
