missioned officers and privates, who have or shall enlist in col. Armand's
corps, the bounty allowed by them respectively, in addition to the con
tinental bounty, the men so engaged shall be credited as part of the
quota of the state who shall allow the additional bounty."

  	RESOLVES OF CONTINENTAL CONGRESS 21 JUNE, 1779.

    "Resolved, That the non-commissioned officers and privates of the
intended corps of German volunteers be transferred to the corps com
manded by colonel Armand."

	RESOLVES OF CONTINENTAL CONGRESS 23 FEBRUARY, 1780.

    "Resolved, That the remains of the legion of the late count Pulaski
be incorporated with the corps of colonel Armand, marquis de la
Rouerie, in such manner as the commander in chief of the southern
army shall think proper: the united corps to be formed into a legion to
be commanded by colonel Armand."

  	RESOLVES OF CONTINENTAL CONGRESS 26 MARCH, 1783.

    "Resolved, That in consideration of the merit and services of colonel
Armand, he be promoted to the rank of brigadier-general, retaining the
command of his present corps."


    A Return of the Men belonging to the State of Maryland, who
served in the First Partizan Legion, commanded by Brigadier General
Armand, Marquis de la Rouerie, discharged Nov. the 15th, 1783.
