and be paid him for the adjudgement of the age of every Ser-
vant the summe of Two shillings and six pence sterl; or thirty
pounds of tobo to be paid by the Master of such Servant as
shall be adjudged. And that the sd Clk shall have and be
paid him for every ordr two shillings sterl or twenty pounds
of tobacco, and for every petition preferred to this Court, two
shillings and six pence sterl: or thirty pounds of Tobacco. All
which ffees, and other ffees that shall or may be any waies
due to the Clk of this Court, shall be recovered by way of
Execution upon the Body goods or Chattells of such pson or
psons from whom the same shall or may be due.
Item. It is further Enacted Established and ordeined that
the Constable of St Maries City, doe twice on Every Sunday
(that is to say, once in the morning, and once in the after-
noone) goe up and downe, & search the severall Ordinaryes
within the sd City, and libertys thereof to see what Rules, and
Orders, are kept, and shall at every Mayors Court held for the
said City, present and Testifye upon Oath what Evill Rules
and Ordrs are kept in any either or all of the said Ordinaryes
on Sundayes or Sabboth dayes aforesaid.
Item. It is further Ordeined Established and Enacted as
aforesaid, that if any the Ordinary keepers within this City
or liberties thereof presume to sell any manner of liquors
w'soever by any other measure then what shall be proportion-
able to the measures, that are already stamped and allotted as
a Standard for the sd City, and wch are in the custody of Mr
John Baker, that He, she or they presumeing soe to doe shall
be deemed to sell liquors by false measures, and is guilty of
the breach of the Act of Assembly relateing to Ordinary
Keepers, and this Court will take advantage against them as
is mentioned in the said Act
Item. It is further Enacted ordeined & Established that
noe person or psons whatsoever presume to keepe Ordi-
nary within the said City of St Maries or libertys thereof, with-
out lycense from this Court first had and obteined, Any per-
sons soe presuming as aforesaid, shall be deemed an Ordi-
nary keeper without lycense and conies undr the penaltye of
the act of Assembly in that case made and provided.
Item. Whereas Complaint hath been made to this Court
by severall Inhabitants of the said City of the very greate
damage and mischiefes that are done by hoggs kept within

the said City or libertyes thereof, or places neere adjacent
thereto, by killing the Poultrey, rooteing up the Gardens, and
fields, and otherwise; It is therefore Enacted, ordeined and
Established that noe person whatsoever Inhabiting within the
Oldfield of this City shall for the future raise or keepe, any
hoggs piggs, Sowes or Barrowes, without they be kept in a
