John Oldfields pet.

The humble Petition of John Oldfield
humbly sheweth
That your Hono^rs poore Petition^r being Indicted upon sus-
picion of murd^r (which by the Jury was onely found to be
chance medley) and your Pet^r haveing long layne in prison in
a miserable condition
Most humbly supplicates your Hon^rs pardon
in his Enlargem^t
And your Hon^rs poore Pet^r shall pray &c^a

ord^r for pardon.

The petition granted, and ordered that accordingly pattent
be drawne & pass the Seale.

Rebeccah Simmons pet.

To the hon^ble his L^sps privy Councill
The humble Petition of Rebeccah Simmonds the wife of
John Simmons of S^t Maries County
Sheweth
That your Pet^rs s^d Husband John Simmons being most justly
accused and convicted before his L^sps Justices of the Prov^ll
Court at this present Court for mutinous and seditious

speeches &c^a and being malitiously designed to ruine your
Pet^r and her poor Orphans, by imbezelling and makeing
away what of their Estate (in your Pet^rs charge) he cann, and
soe not onely to depart the Province leaveing your Pet^r
and her said Orphans poore and naked without any
meanes or hopes of releife, but also (as your Pet^r hath
just cause to feare and suspect, intending other bodily
or deadly mischiefe to your Pet^r whereof she averrs
