Maryland ss: By the Councill
Ordered that the Sheriff of Cecill County take unto his cus-
tody the bodyes of Swithen Wells and Samuel Wheeler (if
they shall be found within his Bailywick) and them safe keepe,
soe as to have them before his L^sps: Justices of the Provinciall
Court to be holden at the City of S^f Maries on the last Tues-
day in Novemb: next, to answer unto such matters and thinges
as shall then and there (in behalf of the R^t hon^ble the Lord
Prop^ry) be objected against them: And that the s^d Sheriff also
summons M^r Edward Inglish and M^r Edward Jones, that (all
excuses sett apart) they also be and appeare at the time and
place aforesaid, to testifie the truth of their knowledge against
them the s^d Swithen Wells and Samuel Wheeler, whereof
lett there be no faile. Dated at the Councill Chamber at the
City of S^t Maries the Seaventh Day of October in the Tenth
yeare of the Dominion of the R^t hon^ble Charles &c^a Annoq

John Kirke of Sommersett County by his humble petition
mooves this board that he being principall Credito^r to the
Estate of Edward ffurlong (besides the bequest of him the s^d
ffurlong of all his Estate to him the s^d Kirk, dureing his life or
before he absented himself) noe other person may be admitted
by any ord^r from this board upon any pretence whatsoever to
sue forth Lett^rs of Administration upon the Estate, but that
both he and all persons claimeing any right thereunto may be
left to make good their right thereto according to the Law in
such case made and provided.

first day of the next Prov^ll Court in ord^r to sett forth more at
large his equitable right to what in his petition he hath
alledged.
