forme & keepe the same to their utmost skill and power, as
they will answer the contrary at their perill. And all Officers
civill and military within this Province, and others the good
people of the same are hereby willed and required as also
charged and commanded to take diligent care, and use their
utmost endeavour, for the apprehending and binding over to
answer, of all and every the offendr or Offendors herein within
their severall and respective precincts and habitations or
places of abode. Hereby also chargeing and Commanding all
and singular the Sheriffes of this Province, forthwith upon
receipt hereof) to make publick Proclamation hereof, in the
most publick and convenient places within their severall and
respective Counties, To the end that the same may the better

At the motion of the honble Coll Wm Stevens touching the
act for Encouragemt of makeing Linnen and woollen Cloths
within this Province; from what time the same should com-
mence, and take place;

Councill opinion cone: Acts of Ass: when they take place to
be in force
It is the opinion of this board that that and every Act of
Assembly within this Province, commence and take place from
the day that the same are passed and published by his Lsp: in
the upper house of Assembly in presence of both houses,
