humbly beggs pardon and submitts himself to their Honors

alledging in his behalf that his Offence particularly in the
business of Coll Talbott was chiefly through the meanes of
the honble Coll Henry Coursey, adviseing him to suspend put-
ting the same in execution untill such time as Coll Talbotts
Lettr might come to their Honors hands. He is advised for
the future to mind onely such warrts and precepts as are or
shall be directed to him, and putt them in execution according
to the Duty of his place, he is remitted upon his submission
for what is past, and ordered to bring before this board
Swithen Wells and Henry Higges as formerly required.

Came Henry Higges of Cecil County according to precept
he humbly submitts acknowledging his Office, promises
amendmt begs pardon and hath it granted, whereupon he is
discharged with his surety of their Recognizce

To the honble his Lsps Councill
The petition of John Estes Commandr of the Shipp Provi-
dence of Deale in the Kingdome of England,
humbly sheweth
Unto your Honrs that your petn being by Charter partie
bound and obleiged to waite on and attend the ordrs and In-
structions of Mr Jaspar Lynch Mrchant for the space of eight
moneths certain, and four uncertain, and to be discharged in
some part of England, Holland, or fflanders, haveing accord-
ingly performed his sett time certain agreed on, and demanded
whither he may be further employed for the remaineing time
uncertain as aforesaid, hath been positively answered that there
is noe further occasion, but cann by noe meanes procure a dis-
charge from the said Lynch whereby he may be enabled law-
fully to make an end of his voyage homewards, by wch meanes
he is endangered not only to runn the hazard of destroying his
shipp by the worme, seasoning himself and marrinrs here to the
ruine of his voyage, but also is deprived of makeing any ad-
vantage of a ffreight towards the defraying of his charges as
he is ready and cann make appeare to yr Honors he hath been
offered, if he had liberty to accept thereof
He therefore humbly prayes that the sd Lynch may be called
before your Hono" and shew his reasons (if any he hath) why
& wherefore he will not (as in reason law and conscience he
ought) discharge your Petr under his hand & scale, wch he
desires he may be obleiged to doe
