the Covenant made at fort Albany, some of their Indians tooke
& carried away about ffifty Indians from the Eastern shore,
belonging to Ababco, and that in a hostile manner, and have
returned but part of them again,
wee desire that the remaindr may be noe longer deteined
but sent home, and that we may be satisfied why they have
kept them soe long.
Speaker Sachagacagency's Reply.
Wee doe pmise though we cannot comand the Onney-
des to deliver them, yett at our returne home we will
treate them, and by prsents induce them to returne them to
their owne Countrey.
Who prsented to them Eight Matchcoates upon that Answer
The Indians desire Denins du Blisy may be continued in
this Province they understand him well; And prsent a roape of
Peake.

Came and prsented himself to this board Capt Joshua
Doyne high Sher. of St Maries County in his owne proper
pson, and humbly prayed their Honors judgemt and Opinions
how he ought to proceed upon the Committment of Coll
George Talbott into his custody by a private warrant onely
from the honble Coll Thomas Taillor; He the said Sheriff
humbly conceiveing, that the said Coll Talbott being primarily
and at first committed into the custody of the sheriff of Anne
Arrundell County, could not properly be remooved thence
without a habeas Corpus or pticular ordr from this board, and
therefore consequently the said private warrant of Coll Taillors
noe sufficient warrt for him the said Sheriff to receive into
custody the sd Coll Talbott.
Wch being considered It is the opinion of this board, and
Ordered that the said Coll George Talbott be especially com-
mitted to the custody of the sheriff of St Maries County by
pticular prcept from this board to him for that purpose to be
directed, willing and requireing him the sd sheriff accordingly
