Ordered that the Juries Verdict be Entred. And further
this Court ordrs that Mr ffrancis Jenckins high Shriff of this
County with ffrancis Martin and some others of the neigh-
bours take the Estate of Edward ffurlong that is in the posses-
sion of John Kirke of this County, and the same secure accord-
ing to ordr of the honble Councill

Severall Depositions taken in Somrsett County Court con-
cerning Edward ffurlong (viz:)
The Deposition of Esther Hopworth.
Your Dept saith that Joan Kirk her daughter, and Roger
Mackeele came to your Depts house, and askt her if she
would goe with them, to see Edward ffurlong, for he was at
ffrancis Martins distracted, your Dept went with them, but
found his sences as formerly, they much Importuned him to
goe with them but he refused, and as to his household goods
he had a good feather bed, boulster, a rugg and two blanketts,
also a Sea bed and pillow, one pott, one kettle, one frying
pann, three new pottingers, one new pewter dish, six new
pewter spoones, three bucketts, one powdring tubb, one Chest
with two suits of broad cloth in it, and other goods, as Bristoll
Red, holland, Dowlas, Mens shooes, and stockings, & further
saith not

The Deposition of Thomas Davis aged 35 yeares Saith
that about two yeares and a half agoe your Deponent went to
Edward ffurlongs house, the said ffurlong was glad to see me
& said, oh Thomas I am undone, for John Kirk and his family
will never lett me rest till I sett my hand to paper, and give
all that I have, and with that he went further saying he should
be undone, for had they lett him alone to stand the bargain he
made with me for half his land, he had been happy, and
further saith not
