Present

At wch tyme came Jacob Young and two Northern Indians
one of the Nation of the Onondagoes the other of the
Onneydes who in behalf of the rest of the Northern Indians
presented to his Lspp these following Articles viz
Vpon the 16th of August came Tenn Indians in the behalf
of a Troope of Indians consisting of three hundred Sinniquos
and Declared themselves in this manner.
Imprs That wee should not give any Eare to any Evill
minded Indians for they were not intended to prejudice the
English in any manner but to continue the peace they had for-
merly made, in order thereunto they had returned Seaven
Christians, and if any Indians of theirs had been killed they
would not seeke Revenge.
Presented a belt of Peake.
2: That the English should not entertaine evill thoughts
but to take out the badd and putt in good thoughts in their
minds
Presented 5 Drest Skinns
3: If any of their four Nations should come downe after
the Pascattoway Indians and should want either Ammunition
or provision they Desire to be releived for the wch they will
make Satisfaction
Presented 4: Drest Skinns


4: They likewise Desire that the peace wch they now make
may be soe firm that the Children wch are not yett borne may
know thereof by the mutuall correspondency they shall keepe
for their hands shall never be disjoined by any Nations what-
soever from the Assistance of the English
