bound unto the Rt honble the Lord Propry of this Province in
the full and just summe of Thirty pounds of good and Lawfull
money of England to be leavyed of my goods Chattells Lands
& Tenemts for the use of the said Lord Propry And I John
Hiland doe likewise hereby acknowledge my self to be holden
and firmely bound unto the said Rt honble the Lord Propry in
the summe of ffifteene pounds of Lawfull money of England
to be leavyed of my Goods & Chattells Lands & Tenements,
upon Condition that if the above bound Henry Higges doe &
shall well and truly make his psonall appeareance before his
Lsps Honble Councill of State to be held at the City of St Maries
the last Tuesday of November next ensueing, to answer to
such matters and things as shall then and there be objected
agt him by the said Councill of State on behalf of the said
Lord Propry and that the said Henry Higgs be of good abeare-
ance and behaviour in the meane time towards all manner of
persons whatsoever That then this present deed of Recogni-
zance to be void, or else to remaine in full force and vertue.
Sealed with our Scales and dated this fourth day of October
in the yeare of our Lord One thousand Six hundred Eighty
