Given at our City of S^r Maries under the greate Seale of this
our Province of Maryland the ffifth day of Aprill in the nineth
yeare of our Dominion &c Annoq Dmi. One thousand six
hundred Eighty and foure.

	At A Council held at the City of Saint Marys the 22d day of April Annoq Dni 1684 The Right Honourable the Lord Proprietary Colo Henry Coursey Colo William Stevens Colo Thomas Taillor Major Nicholas Sewall The honble Colo Vincent Lowe John Darnall Esqr Colo Henry Darnall Colo William Burges Colo William Digges Edward Pye Esqr Present Memorandum At the motion and Request of the Honble Colo William Stevens passed this following Order of Council viz. Maryland ss. By the Lord Proprietary & Council Ordered that A Commission heretofore Granted to Captain John Osborn of Somerset County to be Deputy Surveyor for those parts in the said Commission named and Limited be renewed and enlarged and that the Honourable George Talbot Esqr Surveyor General of this Province be and he is hereby desired and appointed to Issue out unto the said Osbourn a new Commission for the said Office of Deputy Surveyor under him the said George Talbott Esqr for and in the several parts and Places in the said former Commission named and further up to, and in and about Duck Creek in Deleware Bay Signed p order April 22d 1684 Llewellin Cl Council	Calvert Papers.
