inhabiting in Delaware precincts and corresponding with some
of our side, under a pretence of lookeing, and medling onely
with their owne, which is noe less they cann lay private hands
on, not regarding but contemptibly slighting the Lawes of
this Province which prohibitt the comeing upon any mans
land a hunting or rangeing, and driveing or takeing any thing
off from it: passing bills of sale one to another, whereby they
transport their robberies further and further out of knowledge,
especially now upon the erecting of Pensylvania &c"
And whereas your Ldsp is now settling the bounds with that
Province, It is wished and humbly petitioned that it may
please your Ldsp to promote a prohibition and Punishment in
that Governmt as also in the Governmt under New Castle that
none may be admitted unless they have their just Right and
Title, Certified under the Clerks hands & Scales of the
County for such beasts transported thither that they lawfully
and legally obteined the true propriety that your Ldspps Inhi-
tants may not Suffer soe much damage and injury any more,
especially upon the ffrontiers
And yr Ldsps humble Servrs shall ever pray &ca

Ordered that the Petr Augustine Herman and other the
Inhabitants of Cecil County therein concerned stand upon
their guard, and endeavour as much as in them lyes to appre-
hend any such persons as is complained against in the Petition
in ordr to bring them to condign punishment

By George Robins a petition (viz:)

To the Rt honble Charles absolute Lord and Propry of the
Provinces of Maryland and Avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore
&ca and to the honble Councill
The Petition of George Robins Sheweth
That your Pef by an unjust Complaint made unto yr Ldsp
by Richard Smith is by your LdspPs warrant unjustly molested,
and hath attended severall Courts in ordr to yr Ldspps warrant,
but noe proceedings your Pef is now also attending to answer
what shall be objected: Your Pef requesteth your Ldspp to
take it into Consideration, that your Pef may be allowed his
reasonable expences for this unjust Molestation
And your Pef shall pray &ca

The petr if he hath been unjustly molested hath his remedy
at Law against the said Richard Smith, and is dismissed from
any further attendance on this board, the matter not properly
being within the cognizance thereof.
