In Council Annapolis 3d February 1778.
Sir
Your Letter of the 30th ulto was received & in answer
thereto, am requested to inform you that the Act of Assembly
expressly directs, that all Recruits are to be immediately for-
warded to this Place, where Cloathing will be provided for
them as fast as possible. You will therefore forward them as
quick as possible to Annapolis.
