Saturday January 10th 1778.
Present as on yesterday.

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to John
Laypole one hundred and twenty nine pounds and six pence
per Account passed the Board.
That the said Treasurer pay to Parket Bork three pounds
thirteen shillings & four Pence on acct of his Cart Horses &ca
with Artillery Baggage as pr Acct passed the Board

Monday 12th January 1778
Present as on Saturday except Thomas Sim Lee Esquire

Ordered That the western shore Treasurer pay to John King
six pounds fifteen Shillings for the use of James Maxwell.

Tuesday 13 January 1778
Present as on Yesterday. Thos Sim Lee Esquire attended

Ordered That the western shore Treasurer pay to John
Annis two pounds seventeen shillings and six pence Amot of
Account passed.
That the said Treasurer pay to Thomas Gordon seven
pounds ten shillings due to him for 5 pair of Shoes purchased
for the Public and now lodged in the public Store
That the said Treasurer pay to Thomas Gordon three hun-
dred Dollars for the recruiting Service to be accounted for
and to be charged to the third Regiment
That the Commissary of Stores at Annapolis deliver to
Cornelius Mills 9 Coats, 9 pr Breeches, 9 pr Stockings 9 Shirts
9 underwaistcoats & 9 pr Shoes for the recruiting Service and
to be charged to the first Regiment
That the said Commissary deliver to Thomas Gordon 12
Shirts to be charged to the third Regiment.

Wednesday 14th January 1778
Present as on yesterday except James Brice.

James Hindman Esquire resigns his commission of Treas-
urer of the Eastern shore which was accepted in the Council.
