 46 Proceedings of the Council of Maryland, 1671-1675.
Lib. R. R. Wherefore we doe (out of our owne particular favour to the
said Baker Brooke) hereby Authorize & Require you in our
name from tyme to tyme & att all tymes when you shall
thinke fitt & finde itt Convenient to Impower Constitute
Ordeyne & Appoint by Comission under our great Seale of
our said Province of Maryland such person or persons as you
shall thinke fitt to Survey any parcell or quantity of land which
shall hereafter happen to be of Right Surveyed & taken upp
in our said Province for the said Baker Brooke And soe as
such person or persons to be Impowered & Authorized as
aforesaid doe from tyme to tyme before he or they shall Sur-
vey any land by vertue of the said Power to be given him or
them first Acquaint you or our Lievtenant there for the tyme
being with the nature & quantity of the land which he or they
shall intend soe to Survey And make itt appeare that such a
Proporcon of land ought of Right to be Surveyed for him
Provided that this our warrant & all Comissions to be
Graunted by vertue hereof shall be in force dureing our
pleasure & noe longer Given under our hand & greater
Seale att Armes this Seaventh day of Decembr in the three &
fortieth yeare of our Dominion over the said Province of
Maryland Annoq Dmi One Thousand six hundred & Seav-
enty foure.

August the 16th 1675
Comission then issued to Thomas Long of Baltemore
County Gent to be Coroner of and in the Lower Parts of the
same County.

43th yeare of his Lopps Dominion &c Annoq Dom 1674

Then was read Coll Vties letter of the 28th of September
last to the Governour concerning the Indians.
Ordered the Assembly be called together to meet the
second tuesday in ffebruary next & new writts for the Dele-
gates issue in Baltemore & Cecil Countyes.
That no Corne or provision whatsoever be exported the
Province without Speciall lycence from the Governour. Vide
proclamacon fol 34.
