this Day informed that there are severall writts of Error
depending to be Determined in the upper house of Assembly
touching severall Actions lately depending in the Provinciall
Court in which causes severall of the Attorneys that are mem-
bers of the lower house of Assembly are concerned for their
Clyents, and being given to understand that for want of a law
to direct how and when such Errors shall be assigned and
filed the Plaintiffes in such Errors have hitherto vsed to file
their Errors not before the beginning of the Assembly with
the Clerk of the upper house, soe as the Clerk of the house
and the Attorneys members of the Lower house that are for
the Defendants being otherwise concerned in the publick
business are streightened in point of time to make Coppyes
of the said Errors and to consult their Clyents cause how to
plead to the said Errors and Defend themselves against the
same haveing not above two or three dayes time allowed
them to consider thereof whereby the Defts are often Sur-
prised to the endangering the loss of their cause for want of
a due consideration thereof, the Plaintiffes haveing One two
or three yeares time commonly for the prepareing the said
Errors by meanes whereof also his Lspp and the Countrey
affaires have been retarded ffor prevention whereof and till a
future provision shall be made touching the same his Lspp
hath thought fitt and by the advice of his Councill hath ordr

that all Plaintiffs in such Errors doe by the first day of August
next Assigne and file their Errors with the honble the Secry or
Mr John Llewellin Clerk of the upper house of Assembly to
the End the Defendants in the said Errors may take coppies
thereof and file their severall pleas to the same by the tenth
Day of the same August, soe as both parties may be duely
prepared to consider of their causes and be ready to receive
the judgemt of the upper house touching the same at such
peremptory Day as the said upper house shall appoint to
heare the same, that the publick business may in noe wise be
hindered or delayed. Off which the Attorneys of the Provin-
ciall Court and all persons concerned therein are to take
notice at their perill.
