Know all men by these presents That I William Calvert
Esq^r Secretary of Maryland doe hereby acknowledge to have
received from the hands of Robert Ridgley by Order from his
Excellency the Cap^t Generall of Maryland the Records
specified and mentioned in this paper as also the lesser Seale
of this province for all which I doe hereby discharge as well
his said Excellency as the said Robert Ridgely In wittnes
whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and Seale the three and
twentieth day of March in the 42^th yeare of the Dominion of
Cecilius &c Annoq Dom. 1673.

Cozen. I have some Occasions to sue some persons at this
next Provinciall Court in the behalfe of his L^opp and the
Attorny Generall not being in these parts I have employed
the bearer hereof Robert Ridgely as Attorny in the Cases
wherefore though not as yet sworne (which shall be the next
Court) pray lett him have such writts as he shall desire to take
out and the same priveledge as any other Attorny hath which
is all from
